QWill there be a scar? Do I need a brow tattoo?
The incision sits right at the lower edge of the brow hairline, so the scar is naturally concealed. If you already have semi-permanent brow tattooing, the design follows that line, and a brow tattoo after healing can conceal it even more naturally.
QWill the shape or position of my brows change?
Because the surgery lifts drooping eyelid skin upward, the brows may feel slightly lower right after surgery. This is a normal effect of the forehead muscles relaxing, and the brows gradually settle into a natural, comfortable position.
QIs recovery shorter than with upper blepharoplasty?
Yes. Because the eyelid itself is not directly operated on and no new crease is created, there is much less swelling around the eyes. Bruising and swelling do not spread widely around the eyes, allowing a quicker return to daily life.
